Money - strange how a "medium of exchange" can actually motivate people to "do" things and accomplish objectives, isn't it? That same medium of exchange makes one "feel" powerful... makes one arrogant, greedy, and stingy, too. And to think... people look up to them. Why? There are NO redeeming qualities one embodies by having a large quantity of money... because, it's merely a 'medium of exchange'.

Let us swing this money issue to the corporate level now, and remember at the top of a corporation is a human being, and typically a man... yet not always. In this case, I do believe the majority of the corporations in which we are concerned have men as the CEO.

Our interest is corporate media and more so... television. Note: those sitting behind the news desk are called "news readers". That's because they simply read the news from a teleprompter.

Have you noticed how mainstream media is SO limited and filtered? News is really like a massive quantity of cereal and we get a few morsels. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong because it's been a while, but... in the morning, they do their best to entertain viewers so they won't change the channel. As if EVERY single person has ADHD catering to viewers with ADHD. (I have serious doubts about ADHD being a real disorder... we used to be hyperactive and that was it. Plus, I have a really simple explanation as to why people don't pay attention.)

Then there is the evening news on what used to be the three major networks... it lasts a half hour, heavily spun, SO worthless and not worthy of our mental space or expending any energy. I wonder two things... why those "news readers" are paid so much is beyond me... and why in the world would anyone chose to rely upon that as their only source of information totally baffles me. IF one does... it's no better than having a bad case of blurred tunnel vision with a twist with selective hearing.

Let's move on to the 24 hour news channels. They consist of mainstream media and Fox News. When I LISTEN to the news it is Fox, yet I've noticed it's the same news being tumbled around and around all day long with the occasional tweak. The topics are few considering the amount of real news that takes place in the world around us. That's because it's produced or controlled information for the sake of MONEY, and determined by a large degree of sensationalism. First and foremost the news industry is a BUSINESS, and their concern is the bottom line. The line up of time slots, hosts, journalists, news readers, ex-politicians, attorneys, etc. have been researched extensively... it's called "marketing".

Anytime money is the main motivation toward achieving a goal something is bound to go wrong at some point along the way. With the media the ultimate consequence really falls upon the viewers... IF that is where the viewer chooses to limit their dependency for their news resource. IF that is indeed the choice, the viewer has drastically limited him or herself to nothing short of blinders on a horse.

Okay, you may be thinking, "This isn't anything new"... but this leads to a broader misfortune.
