What's the difference between business and politics.??? Or perhaps corporations, to be more specific... and politics...??? The answer: NOT a THING.
I'll tell you why. I hit my head on the glass ceiling at age 28. Did anyone care, or know.??? No. I'm not a white American, and I love America. I was once a minority, but it didn't matter. (Like all terminology in society, not just politically... definitions change.) The "glass ceiling" in those days were women who achieved corporate goals of a man. Did I receive the same compensation as the all white male staff.??? No. Did I get anything more when I inquired.??? No. This was a male dominated industry, still is, and in my educated opinion.... it's also a global and highly controversial, politically motivated monopoly, where those at the TOP get wealthy, and they are still men to my knowledge. (Figure it out, and tell me the industry to which I am referring... ) I learn experientially, and my first "real job" in business is where I learned how a company operates or functions like Lee Iacocca, by stepping in at the beginning and working my around. (BTW ~ That opportunity was priceless.) I was always gleaning, growing with knowledge, and gaining responsibilities. This particular business taught me so much about life, personal responsibilities and about career opportunities I had no idea existed. The best thing I learned was preparing a report on the financial standing in the form of a "snapshot" by tracing all business transactions via the company's "pipeline". There were no computers then, we used typewriters and calculators. This report was handwritten for Executive review, and I wasn't privy to the meeting, yet under time restraints for their necessary financial planning.
I paid dearly at the large corporation for being ignorant, casually naive, and later bold as I climbed the corporate ladder while working toward my BS in Marketing. Daggers in the back are a tough way to go to work, yet somehow youth is resilient and invincible. It still takes a toll on ones life as trials in life keep piling up. So.... Years have passed, and I can say this. Business and politics are no different. Politics is an enormous business with tentacles that are felt and invading every aspect of our lives. Sadly, the world of politics attracts more corrupt people and probably only because it is such a vastly ensnarled business, and it's tentacles are in bed with corporations called lobbyists. So, they aren't different. I still call it "political incest". The bottom line is... it's about the bottom line. Money, and it's dirty money. The saying "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer", as this world turns.... the saying is manifesting before our eyes. As I observe those on the most social of networks, I'm realizing how out of touch so many individuals are as they attempt to obtain the most shallowest of goals. Adolescent behavior and the mental pigeon hole of adults is rather.... pathetic. They are seeking more for themselves than for OUR America. Self-absorption is blind, yet the same point the finger at Barry HUSSEIN Soetoro Obama. Where is a mirror when one needs it...??? So much of OUR America has NO idea what is happening in the Middle East, the UN, and the Hmmmm.... for all we know, Barry HUSSEIN Soetoro Obama may not be educated. Maybe, that's why he knows not of which he speaks. He's been mentored his entire life and can barely read the speeches he does NOT write, nor did BHSO ever have charisma. Been that and done there... not going over it. See the tab "Editor's Edge" and find it. That fecal matter is so yesterday, it's fertilizing the soil here. This leads to Herman Cain... He knows business. Better yet, what do you know about Herman Cain...???

What I'm getting at is... This experience at a young age tapped into my passion for business, and my inherent ability to see on the macro and micro levels of various aspects of life as I got older. What I didn't learn was... when I went to a large male dominated corporation, there was this thing called "politics". Because I learned extensively from one of the two Jewish brothers who were owners of the aforementioned company, yet it wasn't really small. Trust me, I know small business, too.
impact it has on OUR Nation, thus OUR own lives. So, many in OUR America are so dumbed down they are nothing more than BEGGARS that "think" they have a choice, because some 'mouth piece' at the top lies. You know him... Barry HUSSEIN Soetoro Obama.
